BSLBATT has released its PowerLine wall-mounted lithium battery. The system is just 88-mm thick and has passed IEC62619, CE, UL1973, UN38.3 certification.
“The ultra-thin size does not affect the performance of this battery, on the contrary, the battery module adopts the FPC process to maintain higher consistency of each cell, so the PowerLine has a longer service life and higher efficiency,” said Eric Yi, CEO of BSLBATT. “After repeated testing and inspection, this battery can have more than 6,000 cycles at 100% DOD, and the capacity retention rate can still stay at 80%. This exceeds most home battery brands in the industry.”
The 5-kWh LFP battery comes with lifetime technical support and a 15-year warranty.
Very clever, you guessed our plan in advance, the ultra-thin rack module is under development and design and will be available early next year!

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the module looks like it can be drawer mounted to set up a modular easy to expand cabinet method of energy storage. One could accomodate something like 70kWh in a standard 72 inch high electric cabinet. IF it is truly a 19 inch rack mountable module, the ESS industry could get into the scalable ESS and microgrid with just two 72 inch cabinets set side by side.
