If we are committed to save the world and continue to use them, now It is the perfect time to feed up the industry. We should not spending all these money on our enemy’s products. This will help them kill us!!!

Those were much more disruptive than the Section 201 tariffs? The U.S. continued to install record levels of solar with the Section 201 in place.

It’s exempt now, but doesn’t solve the delays.

Katzmann, who revoked the bifacial exemption in 2020, released today’s decision to put bifacial modules back on the exemption list.”

When the “powers that be” start this public display of the equivalent of the 1960’s version of a travelling yo-yo competition, it would be refreshing to see something ‘other’ that “walk the dog” and “rock the cradle”. As this stands now with the bifacial exemption, one is now tempted going with bifacial solar PV on the roofs of their homes, not because that is a particular advantage using bifacial on the roof of a home, but because, it would be cheaper to install than “American made” crystalline solar PV panels. Depending on any “new language” in the recently signed infrastructure bill, if a solar PV panel is not “American made” it may well ‘not’ make the list of panels one can use on their roofs and still have tariffs attached driving up costs of the panels and affecting the entire installation cost. THIS is NOT the time for a three ring Circus.
