Guys like Tom Steyer and Bloomberg are throwing money at States that have the Initiative process. Their goal is to ‘push’ RPS of say 50% by 2030. They are using the ballot initiative process to get enough valid voter signatures to force these mandates on the ballot. IF the people vote for this, they will be allowing themselves to be taxed for the infrastructure necessary to reach the actual State Constitutional mandate. When all is said and done, you’re better off taking some of that money out of the bank at that whopping 0.5% to perhaps 2.2% APR and reduce or eliminate an electric bill for life.
