I would discern this would be better in a local, say town microgrid installation to take care of local grid load demands without having to sign generation contracts on the ‘spot market’ to meet grid load capacity. Particularly in New Mexico, there is a lot of desert for large solar PV farms. What is needed is to take this land and hve the ability to make a solar PV farm a daytime dispatch energy resource or a night time dispatch energy resource.
