That means an average $200/month electric bill in 2020 would cost $280/month for the same energy use in 2030.

Rhode Island is looking at 100% by 2033 and a total of 64.5% from 2023 to 2033 or for an average $200/month electric bill would cost $329/month by 2033. Inflation isn’t going away any time soon. Thanks for laying this out so succinctly. Folks need to understand up front renewables won’t be easy or cheap until the job is done. When people see these numbers over the years, they actually have a better idea of what the ROI on their own solar PV system and smart ESS will amortize sooner than later.
